Hello everyone - I must first apologize for failing to add a blog telling everyone we were closing for Spring Break. One of the final things on the "to do" list that did not get done. I did however change the voice mail - or thought I had - until I called Becky today and found my message was not changed. I apologize to everyone who has tried to contact us over the past week and wondered where we were hiding. Tammy was celebrating her birthday in Kalispell - three women in her family have birthdays within a week of one another. Becky went to Big Sky and Bozeman got a few turns in and visited friends since she use to live over there. We (Don, the boys and I) were lucky enough to have a trip to Hawaii with Don's dad. It was blissful, relaxing and warm. The re-entry to Missoula this afternoon is sobering - its no longer 84F!!! Its dumping white stuff out of the sky and I am in slippers not flip flops!! I hope you all enjoyed Spring Break. We will be returning all calls as soon as we can. Again apologies for not being on the ball with the Out of Town messages.

If you have not been to the Children's Museum Missoula for a while then you should go. They have just reopened after a great remodel that added new exhibits, upgraded the water feature and caters more towards some older children. We stopped by and took a day to do mini sessions - here are some of the images!

These people are special. They called on their due date - no baby lets do pictures!! When Abbi walked in she looked RIPE!!! I told the two of them I have done sessions that have led to babies in 12 hours - well they waited 15 before the beautiful Lily was born at Missoula's Birth Centre. And she as you will see is just beautiful. just like her folks!

And in keeping with feeding my baby shoe fetish - Lily had some stunners - they were sooooo cool gold with bear paw prints as you can see, plus some fancy ribbons!

Creeley came back to show us just how much of a little chunky monkey she has grown into. She is totally adorable, and so are her shoes. I am discovering I do after all have a thing for shoes - kiddos have such neat footwear - so much more interesting than mine!!

OK I am totally done - Mom quit the smiling - lets go - this was definitely the message at the end of the morning!

February is such a great time for maternity portraits - having had both my boys in February its a slow month if you are waiting for your babe to arrive. So I am so jazzed to see women come in and celebrate their beauty, the new life they are creating and this is also a great time to capture the relationship and excitement of parents in waiting! These two had a dramatic morning getting here - locking themselves out of the car and home... but it was worth it in the end. They are now proud parents to a beautiful little girl - born February 29. Congratulations!! Hope you are getting more sleep this week!
